35 An eyewitness has testified to this, and his testimony is true. He knows that what he says is true, so that you also may believe.
36 This happened so that the Scripture might be fulfilled,
“Not one of his bones will be broken.”
37 And again, in another passage Scripture says,
“They shall look on the one
whom they have pierced.”
